Family Portraits Van Dusen Botanical Gardens - Vancouver BC Based Photographer

Last year I received a phone call from a family that had moved away from Vancouver and wanted to buy a portrait session for friends that still lived here. They missed them terribly and wanted to this to be their Christmas present.  In June I finally received the phone call from the adorable family below. It was a long weekend when we did our session and we had Van Dusen Gardens all to ourselves with the beautiful end of day light.

I am so thrilled about these two becoming parents.  I have been lucky to document all their special moments as a couple from their engagement to their wedding in Mexico and now their first child. So excited to meet their little guy who is arriving any day now.

I feel truly lucky to attract the clients I have. This one is extra special because I have known Michael since elementary school so it was such a huge honor to photograph him and his beautiful wife. They patiently waited for my life to be less hectic and we snuck in this session a week before their little boy arrived. Their newborn session tomorrow. Enjoy.
